It is now widely acknowledged that the cause of most of the serious health risks associated with conventional cigarettes is the exposure to toxicants in the smoke produced when tobacco is burned – and not the nicotine.

THR’s purpose is to enable adult consumers who would otherwise continue to smoke to switch to alternative forms of tobacco and nicotine products that have a lower profile of risk as compared to cigarettes.

That is why we are dedicated to the development and commercialisation of alternative tobacco and nicotine products that don’t burn tobacco to deliver nicotine to the users and offer smokers an enjoyable, reduced risk alternative.

Today, there are four global categories of Reduced-Risk Products*: Heated Products, Vapour Products, Oral Tobacco Products and Oral Nicotine Pouches. 

Vapour Products

Under our flagship Vuse brand, our vapour products play a major role in providing smokers with a reduced-risk* alternative to cigarettes. We continue to invest and innovate to deliver even greater choice and satisfaction for our consumers.

As vapour products do not contain tobacco and do not involve combustion, the vapour contains substantially fewer and lower levels of the toxicants found in cigarette smoke*.
