Our products

BAT’s portfolio comprises combustible tobacco products alongside a range of non-combustible products. Combustibles are traditional tobacco products, such as cigarettes.


The Group’s well-known strategic combustibles brands include Benson & Hedges, Dunhill, Rothmans, Pall Mall, Winfield, Port Royal and Holiday.

The Group’s purpose is to build A Better Tomorrow by reducing the health impact of its business through offering a greater choice of enjoyable and less risky products for its consumers.

It’s widely viewed that the harm associated with smoking combustible tobacco products arises not from nicotine but from other components of the smoke produced when tobacco is burned.

While cigarettes will be at the core of its business for some time to come, the Group’s ambition is to accelerate the growth of our Smokeless Products,  reaching at least 50% of our revenues by 2035.

BAT’s range of reduced-risk products* include BAT’s New Categories:

  • Vapour products are handheld, battery-powered devices that heat a liquid (called an e-liquid) to produce an inhalable aerosol, commonly known as vapour. BAT’s vapour products are available under its Vuse* brand.
  •  Tobacco heating products (THPs) are devices that use heat to generate a nicotine-containing aerosol , which the user inhales. Our flagship THP is glo.
  •  Modern oral products are white in colour and contain high-purity nicotine, water and other high-quality food-grade ingredients, flavouring and sweeteners. BAT’s global modern oral brand is Velo.

The Group’s non-combustible range of reduced-risk* products also include traditional oral products, such as Swedish-style snus and American moist snuff.
